WHV Angkor - Stone Conservation
WHV-Angkor focuses on various efforts aimed to conserve, protect and promote Angkor Archaeological Park, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in Cambodia. The Stone Conservation Unit of APSARA National Authority was created in conjunction with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in order to ensure a framework for conservation, restoration and maintenance operations. XplorMor International was on site to document this critical conservation work and the hands-on opportunity offered to the UNESCO World Heritage youth volunteers program.
