Cuba Entomology Research Expedition
XplorMor International organized, conducted and photographed the Cuba Entomology Research Expedition for members of the Entomology Department at the University of Georgia. The expedition focused on logging a photographic field survey of insects in three diverse regions of Cuba, and in establishing relations between the professor from UGA and professors at the Entomology Department of the University of Havana in Havana, Cuba. This introduction was to lay groundwork for future expedition possibilities between the two universities.
The three field study locations: Guanahacabibes National Park and Biosphere Reserve, Cienaga de Zapata National Park and Biosphere Reserve, and Vinales National Park which includes Vinales Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
