USA & Canada: Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park
In 1932 Glacier National Park in Montana, USA and Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada joined to become the world’s first International Peace Park. These parks offer outstanding prairie, forest, alpine and glacial scenery as well as exceptionally rich species of plants and mammals. XMI was thrilled to have the opportunity to hike across the international boundary and photograph the park’s exceptional features. This documentation will be added to its archival record.
