Tachinid Fly - Need ID
Flies: Tachinid Fly, possibly Genus Chetogena, Family Tachinidae, Order Diptera. Documented in Rose Valley in Los Padres National Forest, Ventura County, California, USA. Note: There were four of these flies on this plant, possibly Woollyfruit Desertparsley, Lomatium dasycarpum. They seemd to each be "guarding" their cluster of the seedpods.
